Features of Swivl
Follows You
The Swivl base automatically follows the marker and you. The marker gives you control over framing yourself and what the camera sees within a range of 10 meters. Just place or point the marker where you want the camera to go.
CD Quality Microphone
The Swivl Marker captures high quality digital audio through a lossless wireless connection to iOS devices. This enables you to capture the audio you want, without complication. Does not work with Android or standalone video cameras.
Multi-Axis Motion
Swivl comes with 360 degree horizontal and vertical following capability. Now you can move freely around your mobile camera and be confident that you’ll be well framed, regardless of where you stand. Vertical range is +5-/20 degrees.
App Connected
Swivl connects to select iOS devices. We provide basic remote control of video start/stop. In addition, we provide enhanced audio through our microphone enabled marker.
Tripod Compatible
Works with any tripod mountable pocket video camera, or point and shoot camera under 6 ounces. Does not work with DSLR cameras.
Device Compatibility
Swivl will be compatible with select iOS devices, including: iPhone 4s, 4 iPod Touch (4th generation). It will also support and provide follow functionality to tripod enabled pocket cams (Flip Cams, Point and Shoots) under 6 ounces. Swivl is not compatible with iPhone 3GS or older, iPod (non-camera versions) and iPad.
Battery or Wall Operated
The Base operates on two AA batteries and provides you with 4 hours of action capture. It also can be operated with a separate wall charger accessory. The marker operates on two AAA batteries and provides you with up to 10 hours of capture.
In the Package
Swivl comes standard with a Marker, Base, Tripod Mount, Lanyard, Micro USB Cable and Batteries. Wall charger is not included and sold separately.
No Setup Required
The Swivl mobile accessory allows you to simply and easily video yourself. No need for complicated setups or asking friends to hold the camera for you.
Android Devices
Swivl is not enabled to work with Android software at launch. However, our basic following capability will function without any mobile phone software. Our phone holder is compatible with Android phones that have a thickness of under 11mm.
