Post App buttons covered when using rear camera

Please change this. Maybe the app could switch the button bar from from bottom to top when pressing the "swap" button to switch to rear camera. Or simply change swap button to two buttons front / rear, and the button chosen will move the bar, or best option, let the user choose in the app where they want the bar to appear (some may want it on the side).

I need to quickly check battery levels, delete an unusable recording, check vertical framing etc, without removing/repositioning the camera in the Swivl.
This isn't possible in when using the rear camera because the mount covers all the button.

This is especially frustrating for me.

Thanks!

I agree this is very important. Is not practical to remove the phone each time I want to check something.

I'm bumping this topic.

This definitely needs to be addressed.

I forwarded this thread to our engineers. Hopefully we can address the issue shortly. Thank you.

What's the turnaround time when communicating with your engineers?

We need more than "what a great idea to share", and then a month later...."I emailed the engineers"
This forum isn't slammed with users. I'd expect this at http://forum.fractalaudio.com/forum.php, but not here.
Just a suggestion, but at that forum the engineer PARTICIPATES in the forum even though there's over 16,000 members.
He's the CEO, designer, software engineer, R&D, etc. Despite that he has 2,800 posts on the forum for the product.
I highly recommend that if you want 16,000 members on your forum.

If you want 16,000+ members on your forum, might be a good idea to have the engineers participating.

Hi, I am one of the founders and an engineer.
This feature has been added to the todo list. It did not make the cut for the current release we are beta testing (release 1.3 of the app). We will get it into the next release.
