I love using reflection in my high school course. After each formative and summative assessment, students reflect on their learning journey. How did the class work support their learning? How did they prepare for the assessment? What do they wish they had done differently? Instead of just focusing on a grade, students take the time to process how their actions support their learning journey. The recharge moment is amazing.

For the past 50 days, MirrorTalk has been an essential part of my daily reflection. While I’ve always thought of myself as reflective, doing it every day has shown me its true impact. MirrorTalk lets me focus on what I need each day, whether it is celebrating wins, facing challenges, or setting goals.

The AI feedback has been especially valuable, offering honest guidance that is both supportive and thought-provoking. It helps me dig deeper and see things from new angles.

After experiencing these benefits, I started a 7-day MirrorTalk challenge in my district, and it has sparked interest from teachers who want to use it with students. I am hopeful this can foster more connected and reflective classrooms.
