When M2 entered classrooms in March 2024, it didn’t come to be another screen demanding attention.

It came to listen, to observe, and to stand alongside great teachers. It came to help engage learners and to see what teaching really looks like today.

After thousands of hours in classrooms across the country, M2 had a clear picture. Teachers aren’t short on creativity, talent, or commitment. They’re short on time, support, and the tools to make big goals like differentiation work in the messy chaos of a real school day.

This summer, we put those needs at the center of a major upgrade.

The result? A co-teacher built to make differentiation (in every sense of the word) not just possible, but practical.

And better yet, to do it without depending on screens for meaningful learning. Here’s what’s new, and why we think you’ll want it in your classrooms yesterday.

One-touch M2 talk

A big part of differentiation is presenting information in fresh ways — connecting with different interests, strengths, and learning styles. But no teacher can be expected to approach every subject from every angle.

With One-touch M2 talk, teachers get that extra voice instantly. Since they’re already wearing the M2 remote, a single tap on the screen or remote invites M2 to step in like a co-teacher:

Offering a different way to think about the concept

Sharing how it’s applied in real life or work

Reframing the lesson with a story or analogy that lands more clearly

It’s built-in backup for when your explanation isn’t connecting and students just need to hear it another way.

Have a specific question or request for M2 during your lesson? You can press and hold the button on the remote to ask M2 anything with a verbal request.

Guided student activities

We all know the benefits of small-group learning: higher participation, deeper understanding, greater ownership of learning.

The challenge is everything it takes to make those groups run smoothly — planning, setting up, checking in — all while keeping the rest of the class engaged.

For years, small group work has relied on low-tech approaches — worksheets, packets, and independent tasks. But without real feedback or guidance, these activities often fall flat, missing the chance to spark deeper learning and growth.

M2 changes that. With no prep, you can launch a guided off-screen activity or station with immediate feedback. Just tell M2 what you want students to accomplish and what materials are available… it handles the rest!

Here’s how simple it is to start:

Click “Guide” at the bottom of the screen

Choose the type of activity — Q&A, practice, or project.

Answer a quick prompt from M2 about your goal and the materials students will use.

Preview and click “Launch.” The activity is ready to go.

Students dive right in with clear, step-by-step instructions, working together in groups and sharing what they learn along the way. Even better, students and teachers get feedback immediately after the guided activity with no lag or waiting.

On their dashboard, teachers see real-time insights into both whole-class and small-group progress. Each group is scored on a 0 to 4 scale for the skill they are working on (as determined from the lesson objective and relevant standards), making it easy to assess understanding and plan interventions.

Supporting individuals without distraction

In Leading and Managing a Differentiated Classroom, Tomlinson and Imbeau notice differentiated classrooms are guided by one constant question:

“What does this student need right now to progress — and what do I need to do to make that happen?”

The problem is, “right now” isn’t always convenient. In a busy classroom, giving one student what they need can pull attention away from everyone else and disrupt the flow.

Many schools try to solve this with screens — translations on Chromebooks, displays with notes, or apps that serve up constant help. But instead of enabling differentiation, they can end up distracting the students who need help most, along with their peers.

M2 now offers a better way to support every learner. Teachers can plug in an earbud and pre-set remotes with a preferred language for each device. When a student needs help, press a button, and M2 delivers a 30-second recap of what’s been covered in the lesson so far — no screen, no disruption.

Soon, you’ll be able to do this with leveled up/down explanations too. This is especially powerful for English learners and for students with IEPs or 504 plans who need targeted support on demand, without being pulled off task.

The intelligent co-teacher that differentiates

Differentiate (v): to modify instruction to meet individual needs.
Differentiate (v): to make something distinct or set it apart.

M2 helps you do both.

As we’ve worked with innovative educators across the country, one thing has become clear: the future belongs to classrooms that can adapt, and to tools that grow with them.

M2 isn’t another layer of technology meant to patch over problems. It’s here to make classrooms different in ways that matter, raising potential and transcending the big challenges educators face every day:

How do we truly reach every student and help them grow?

How do we make differentiation sustainable instead of exhausting?

How do we free classrooms from screen dependence without sliding backwards?

We believe this is the next great leap in education. Not because M2 has every answer. But because it evolves alongside the people who care most: teachers.

Join us on the journey

M2 is evolving alongside educators to solve the real challenges of today’s classrooms. If that vision resonates with you, here are a few ways to get involved:

Talk with us: Let’s discuss how M2 can support your goals and explore options to demo, pilot, or purchase.

Districts across Texas are embracing the Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) to reward strong instruction and retain top educators.

But helping more teachers earn designations, Recognized, Exemplary, or Master, takes more than talent and a few observations. It takes consistent, daily support that helps teachers build strong habits over time.

Now with M2, that kind of support is finally possible!

How does M2 support TIA success?

M2 is Swivl’s AI-powered co-teacher. It lives in the classroom with teachers and delivers real-time, non-evaluative feedback aligned to your instructional framework.

Whether a teacher is working on pacing, engagement, or checks for understanding, M2 reinforces the daily practices that lead to growth in Domain 2 and Domain 3 — areas that are essential for TIA but often get the least feedback.

And now, M2 can be fully aligned to the T-TESS rubric. That means daily coaching is directly connected to the goals teachers are working toward under TIA.

Multiply the feedback without multiplying your work

One of the biggest challenges for instructional leaders is time. You want to support every teacher, but even the best coaching models can only get into a classroom so often. That leaves huge gaps in between observations — missed opportunities for growth.

M2 helps close those gaps. It gives teachers feedback daily, not once or twice a semester or coaching cycle.

It doesn’t replace human coaching. It extends it. M2 can 100x the amount of standards-aligned input a teacher receives between formal touchpoints, all without requiring more from your schedule.

Teachers can use M2 to get actionable, T-TESS-aligned feedback on:

Clear, effective communication and pacing (Dimension 2.3)

Engagement strategies and questioning techniques that promote deeper thinking (Dimension 2.3, 2.4)

Classroom routines, behavior, and student ownership of learning (Dimension 3.1, 3.2, 3.3)

Monitoring and adjusting instruction based on checks for understanding (Dimension 2.5)

And because it’s non-evaluative, non-judgmental, and private, M2 becomes a trusted reflection tool. It becomes something teachers actually want to use and a daily support they can lean on to improve instruction.

Bring T-TESS into daily practice with Rubric Builder

With Rubric Builder, districts can bring their T-TESS priorities directly into M2’s daily feedback.

Instructional leaders can customize M2 to reflect specific T-TESS dimensions and language — so what M2 looks for, responds to, and reports on during instruction matches what teachers are working toward for TIA. Instead of T-TESS living in a handbook or evaluation cycle, it becomes part of everyday teaching and reflection.

This means:

Teachers get frequent, low-stakes feedback tied to T-TESS expectations

Principals and appraisers see more consistent practice across classrooms

Coaching conversations are grounded in shared language and ongoing evidence

That steady alignment helps turn strong daily practice into stronger outcomes when it’s time for designation.

Real growth means real readiness

The TIA process sets a high bar, and rightfully so. But too often, teachers only see that bar a few times a year. M2 makes it visible, and actionable, every day.

By aligning feedback to your framework, multiplying growth opportunities, and making coaching more targeted, M2 helps teachers move toward designation with clarity and confidence.

M2, the intelligent co-teacher, helps teachers grow with real-time, actionable feedback. But every district defines great teaching a little differently. You have your own language, your own frameworks, and your own goals.

Now, you can make M2 reflect all of it. When you share your frameworks, curriculum, and standards with M2, the feedback your teachers receive stays aligned to your district’s goals in every classroom.

It’s next-level collaboration for your teachers, coaches, and leadership team.

Align M2 to your instructional standards

Make M2 reflect the language and expectations your team uses every day. Upload the frameworks your instructors already know so feedback stays clear, consistent, and relevant to their goals.

You can upload:
✔️ National Board Standards
✔️ Danielson Framework for Teaching
✔️ Marzano Teacher Evaluation Model
✔️ TAP (Teacher Advancement Program) by NIET
✔️ Stronge Teacher Effectiveness Performance Evaluation System
✔️ 5 Dimensions of Teaching & Learning (5D+)
✔️ CLASS (Classroom Assessment Scoring System)
✔️ IMPACT
✔️ PACT / edTPA
✔️ State-specific evaluation systems (e.g., T-TESS)
✔️ Locally-developed frameworks or rubrics
✅ Any framework or rubric your team uses

Once you’ve set your preferred framework, teachers gain a continuous source of feedback that connects directly to your formal evaluation process. This makes it easier to support growth throughout the year, not just during scheduled observations

Keep feedback tied to your curriculum

You can also upload learning standards and curriculum materials so M2 stays grounded in what’s actually being taught.

Instructors and students will see familiar, curriculum-based language in reflections and feedback, aligning everything to daily instruction.

You can upload:
✔️ Common Core State Standards (CCSS)
✔️ Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS)
✔️ College and Career Readiness Standards (CCRS)
✔️ State-specific academic standards (e.g., TEKS in Texas)
✔️ District-created curriculum guides or scope and sequence documents
✔️ Core programs like EngageNY, Eureka Math, OpenSciEd, Wit & Wisdom
✔️ Supplemental programs like i-Ready, Amplify, Illustrative Math, and more
✅ Any curriculum or materials your team uses

Track progress with the team admin dashboard

Wondering where to upload your custom documents? If you’re an M2 Team administrator, you’ll see two arrows in your dashboard — these let you toggle between the Admin Dashboard and the Activity Dashboard. Only team admins have this access, so you’ll need to be assigned the administrator role for your M2 Team.

The dashboard provides a clear overview of your organization, lets you manage users and licenses, and shows classroom usage trends and feedback activity.

The dashboard gives school leaders a clear view of how M2 is being used across classrooms:

Spot where coaching is making an impact and where more support is needed

Track usage trends and feedback activity

See which aspects of practice show up most often in feedback

Make feedback work for your district

When instructors, coaches, and leaders are all speaking the same language, real growth happens. M2 makes that alignment easy, so every reflection, coaching moment, and feedback connects back to your district’s goals.

For the first time, you can create a system where support feels relevant, feedback compounds growth, and everyone moves in the same direction. It’s a practical way to keep priorities clear and ensure your district’s vision shows up where it matters most: in the classroom.

Ask any veteran teacher, and they’ll tell you: your first year is equal parts exciting, exhausting, and unpredictable.

Nearly half of new teachers consider leaving the profession early, thanks partly to a steep learning curve and many early challenges. But it doesn’t have to be that way.

While there’s no replacement for learning from experience, there are proven strategies to help you grow faster, build confidence, and set yourself apart early on. Here are four essential “cheat codes” to make your first year a launching pad for long-term success.

1. Embrace feedback (and use it)

Feedback is fundamental to growth, not just the formal kind that shows up on evaluations. Make it a habit to invite input from mentors, colleagues, or even students.

Ask simple, focused questions like, “What’s one thing I could try to engage students better?” Listening to constructive feedback helps you identify your strengths and specific areas to refine.

The smartest teachers use feedback to set micro-goals: small, actionable changes that compound over time. Don’t wait to be evaluated; seek feedback often and let it fuel your growth.

2. Make time for reflection

When it comes to professional growth, intentional reflection is a superpower. Some of the most important teaching improvements happen after class, when you pause to think about what worked, what didn’t, and what to try next.

Set aside a few minutes each day or week to reflect on your lessons. You might jot down notes, record a voice memo, or discuss it with a colleague.

MirrorTalk, Swivl’s AI-powered reflection app, makes this easier by guiding you through a spoken conversation, then using AI to analyze your response and surface key insights and next steps.

The key is consistency. Reflecting regularly helps you notice patterns, sharpen your instincts, and accelerate your growth.

3. Find your community

Teaching is hard, and doing it alone makes it even harder. Collaboration and community are essential to your support structure. The fastest-growing new teachers lean on their peers for ideas, support, and encouragement.

Seek out mentors, grade-level teams, or professional learning groups. Even informal connections with other new teachers can make a huge difference.

If your school offers a new teacher cohort or similar group, jump in. Communities create space to learn, reflect, and grow alongside others who understand exactly what you’re going through.

4. Leverage AI to lighten the load

Your first year will stretch your time and energy. It’s easy to fall behind on professional growth when you’re buried in planning, grading, and classroom tasks. AI tools can help lighten that load.

A recent study found that teachers using AI save an average of 5.9 hours per week — adding up to nearly six extra weeks of time over the school year.

Apps like MagicSchool, Diffit, or ChatGPT can save hours on lesson planning and creating materials. That’s time you can put back into your students — and your own growth.

But planning is only half the battle. Grading and reviewing student work adds up fast, especially if you’re trying to use daily formative assessments (which you should be).

That’s where AI can help, too. A tool like MirrorTalk takes the pressure off by automatically analyzing student reflections. Instead of sorting through every response, you get a clear snapshot of who’s on track and where students need support.

New tools are popping up every day. Stay curious. Talk with your colleagues. Find the ones that help you focus on what matters most: your students, your growth, and your time.

Final thoughts

Your first year will have challenges, but these four cheat codes — reflection, feedback, community, and smart use of AI — can tilt the odds in your favor.

With the right support system, helpful tools like M2 and MirrorTalk, and a proactive mindset, you’ll grow faster, build confidence, and create the foundation for a successful teaching career.

At the Alabama Educational Technology Conference, Mirror Mentors Andrea Taylor and Chaz McGhee took the stage to share how they’re using M2 to make reflection part of daily classroom life — namely how it’s helping teachers improve and driving student engagement.

Both Andrea and Chaz are part of the Mirror Mentors program, a network of educators leading the way in building reflective classrooms with the support of M2. Their stories highlighted not only their deep belief in the power of reflection but also how they’re helping other educators adopt and scale these practices using M2 and MirrorTalk.

During their session, Andrea and Chaz showed how M2:

Delivers real-time feedback on pacing, questioning, engagement, and more

Supports teacher reflection and growth, aligned to their own instructional goals

Enables hands-free, AI-guided student activities to reinforce instruction

Provides tools for differentiation and supporting multilingual learners

Watch a full recording of the presentation.

How Alabama teachers are using M2 in real classrooms

Chaz, a fifth-grade science and math teacher, shared how easily M2 fits into his day. As soon as he puts on M2’s wearable microphone, he’s ready to:

Receive live suggestions during lessons (e.g., clarify misconceptions, deepen questioning)

Prompt students with AI-generated comprehension checks

Reflect on his teaching through spoken dialogue with M2, with AI summarizing growth areas and next steps

Run AI-guided small groups and independent stations, all hands-free

In one example, during a Charlotte’s Web lesson, M2 suggested ways to prompt students for text evidence, strengthening comprehension without disrupting Chaz’s flow.

In another, M2 guided STEM teams through project check-ins, ensuring students met requirements independently. “I only have 90 minutes with my students. I don’t have time for extra work. M2 just fits in and makes my teaching better,” Chaz shared.

Building a culture of reflection with M2

Andrea, a Technology in Motion Specialist at Alabama’s Region 6 Inservice Center, emphasized that real improvement starts with reflection. She pointed to John Hattie’s findings, which show that reflective practice has one of the highest impacts on accelerating student learning.

But reflection doesn’t happen by accident. Teachers need tools to make it part of their daily routine.

M2 does just that, making reflection easy and actionable:

Teachers receive post-class summaries scored on customizable rubrics

Reflection prompts help teachers process their lessons and plan next steps

Administrators can track trends through the M2 dashboard, identifying growth opportunities across classrooms

Schools in Alabama are even using M2 to support ATOT evaluations, with teachers simulating observations, receiving AI feedback, and reflecting before formal assessments.

Getting started with M2

Andrea explained that schools don’t have to wait to make reflection part of daily learning right now.

Educators can sign up for MirrorTalk, the AI-powered reflection tool that works alongside M2, and get started right away on any device. Teachers and students can record spoken reflections, receive instant AI feedback, and track growth over time.

When schools are ready to go to the next level, they can bring in M2 to add real-time feedback, classroom video and audio artifacts, and built-in tools that support high-quality teaching and learning automatically.

Pilot programs, easy onboarding, and trade-in options for legacy Swivl tools make it simple to start building a more reflective school culture with M2.

Big news: M2, the intelligent co-teacher, has officially landed in Australia.

For years, Swivl has supported educators worldwide with tools for professional development, reflection, and growth.

Now, Australian primary and secondary schools can access our most advanced tool yet — an AI-powered co-teacher.

Educators across the country are already co-teaching with M2 and seeing the impact. If you’re exploring how to bring AI tools into the classroom in a way that supports teachers and engages students, M2 is ready to show you what’s possible!

Note: M2 isn’t just for Australia! Educators and institutions around the world are invited to connect with our team and explore how this intelligent co-teacher can support classrooms everywhere.

What is M2?

M2 is an AI-powered co-teacher that supports teachers in the classroom. It sits on the sidelines, quietly observing until it’s called on, ready to help at any moment.

With M2, teachers can:

Get live feedback to continuously improve instruction with each lesson

Now’s the time to get AI right

It’s no secret that AI is taking off in Australian schools. The key challenge for educators lies in using it responsibly — and in ways that truly support teaching, learning, skill development, and the relationships between students, teachers, and peers.

M2 offers a safe, classroom-ready approach that aligns with the Australian Framework for Generative Artificial Intelligence in Schools and helps students build real thinking skills, rather than just finding faster answers.

For many English Language Learners (ELLs), missing key content, instructions, or vocabulary in class can quietly push them to the margins — less participation, less confidence, and a harder time keeping up.

Educators want to support every student. But with limited time, capacity, and language skills, even the most committed teachers can’t meet every need, every time.

M2 already supports ELL’s in a variety of ways. You can ask M2 to speak in any language in class. You can assign MirrorTalk reflections in a variety of languages, and you’ll get reflection insights regardless of the language spoken.

So when teachers asked for a better way to support ELLs — something students could use independently, something that kept them in the flow of the lesson and made their first language a strength — we listened.

We expanded M2’s capabilities with in-ear, multilingual audio support.

M2, the intelligent co-teacher, is helping teachers close the gap for ELLs without slowing instruction, adding extra prep, or pulling students away from where learning happens. And once you try it, it’s hard to imagine teaching without it.

How M2’s in-ear audio support works

With M2’s in-ear audio, ELL students receive immediate translated summaries. It’s all delivered privately through an earbud, without interrupting the class.

Just add an M2 Multi-dock accessory and pair it with your M2. You can setup remotes in software to work in a variety of languages once paired.

Once you do this, students grab their assigned M2 remote and plug in a provided earbud. When they need support, a quick tap plays a brief recap of the last few minutes of instruction in the language assigned to their remotr.

Soon, teachers can also set up M2 remotes to deliver accommodation-supporting audio for students with IEPs and 504 plans, or to receive M2’s live instructional tips themselves while teaching.

The power of first language support in today’s classrooms

More educators are recognizing what decades of research have shown:

A student’s first language isn’t a barrier. It’s an asset. Using it alongside English learning leads to stronger comprehension, faster language development, and deeper engagement.

But offering that kind of support in a general education classroom has rarely been practical. Until now.

With M2, students stay connected and on track. They receive help in the language they’re most comfortable using. Teachers can meet students where they are — no extra time or prep required.

Active engagement and greater confidence

With in-ear support from M2, English learners don’t have to worry about getting lost in complex language or depending on others to catch up. They can stay focused, ask questions, and re-engage at any point, all on their own terms.

That kind of access builds confidence. It encourages self-advocacy. It gives students permission to take academic risks, speak up more often, and stay connected to their peers.

It’s not just about comprehension. It’s about helping students feel like they belong in the learning — because they do! And when that happens, the whole classroom benefits.

How schools are closing the gap for ELLs with M2

Schools using M2 are already noticing the difference. English learners are more engaged, more confident, and more connected. Teachers feel better equipped to reach every learner in the room.

“Our multilingual students feel empowered when M2 responds in their native language, making them feel seen and valued.” – Erika Inka, Instructional Coach, Barrington School District 220

With M2, this kind of inclusion becomes part of the everyday routine.

Open new possibilities for your multilingual learners

M2 gives every student a way into the lesson, no matter what language they speak.

It’s already making a difference in classrooms across the country, resulting in more confidence, more participation, and stronger inclusion for English learners.

If your teachers could offer this kind of support tomorrow, why wait? Fill out the form below to connect with our team. We’ll walk you through how M2 works and help you explore next steps for bringing it to your school.

We’ve always known what the ideal classroom could be: a place where every student feels included, supported, and challenged to grow. Teachers have always had the passion, the expertise, and the vision to build these classrooms.

What they haven’t had are the resources — the extra set of hands, the real-time insights, and the differentiated support needed to truly reach every learner, every day.

Educators told us exactly what they needed, and we listened.

Now, with M2, that vision is finally within reach.

M2’s newest capabilities address long-standing gaps in instructional support, behavior management, differentiation, and more.

With M2, teachers and students alike can finally be equipped to meet the real demands of teaching and learning.

See how M2 is making it all possible this fall:

M2, the intelligent co-teacher, is taking a major leap forward this school year.

With feedback from over 5,000 M2 users, we’ve been hard at work building the features that make M2 an essential part of the modern classroom.

When you power on M2 on the first day of school, a whole new set of capabilities will be ready to help you build the classroom you’ve always envisioned.

Differentiate automatically (no extra planning required)

In every classroom, some students need a little extra support to stay connected, whether it’s a quick translation, a simplified explanation, or a helpful reminder.

Here’s who can benefit:

ELL students can stay engaged in class without feeling singled out by getting support in their native language.

Students with IEPs or 504 plans can get the support they need to meet their accommodations.

Educators who need audio support in addition to the live tips on screen. Live in-ear audio tips can allow for an uninterrupted teacher-led small group or individual time.

Schools thrive when everyone is working toward the same goals, with the same clear vision for teaching and learning.

That’s why we’re introducing the new Team Admin Portal for M2.

Leaders will soon have access to tools that let them:

Upload custom standards, teaching frameworks, and curriculum references

Customize rubric-based feedback systems for teacher activities and student reflections

With these tools, schools and districts can align M2 to their instructional priorities, provide consistent support across classrooms, and make smarter, data-driven decisions to accelerate teacher development — all while reducing the manual work for administrators.

Insights dashboard: Get the full picture with a glance

Shortly after the launch of the Team Admin Portal, we’re rolling out the new Insights Dashboard, giving leaders a clear, real-time view into:

How teachers are progressing against rubric goals

What kinds of feedback are being delivered most often

Trends and insights from student reflections

Where additional support or celebrations are needed

It’s a powerful way to give leaders sharper, actionable data and a broader, real-time view of how growth is taking shape across classrooms, teachers, and teams.

Students can reflect and get help anytime, anywhere

M2’s student reflection experience is evolving with two major upgrades designed to better support learning beyond the classroom.

With two-way conversation, students can now ask M2 questions during reflection to revisit the day’s lesson, clarify objectives, and reinforce their understanding.

Whether they’re catching up after an absence, tackling homework, or preparing for a quiz, M2 becomes a study partner that helps them stay on track — anytime they need it.

And with multi-modal input, students can now reflect using either voice or text. Whether they’re speaking aloud at home or quietly typing in a library, M2 adapts to their environment and preferences, making meaningful reflection more accessible wherever learning happens.

Manage behavior better with a helping hand

Teachers have told us again and again: managing behavior is one of the most challenging parts of the job. We heard the question often: Can M2 help with that too?

Now, it can.

M2’s new behavior tools support teachers in the moment and create space for reflection — all designed to uphold trust, ensure transparency, respect individual rights and follow best practices.

When enabled, teachers can:

Automatically record short, 60-second clips when classroom behavior problems happen

Prompt reflection from students and themselves with video evidence that gets deleted once complete.

This gives teachers a simple way to document key moments, encourage reflection, and reinforce positive behavior — all while supporting social-emotional growth and stronger classroom relationships.

Now’s the time to invest in M2

With the new capabilities coming to M2, the classroom educators have always envisioned — one that is differentiated, inclusive, rigorous, and supportive — is no longer just an ideal.

If you’re striving to support your teachers, improve outcomes, and keep up with what today’s classrooms demand, the time to invest in M2 is right now.

Getting started is easy. Just fill out the form linked below to let us know you’re interested, and a member of our team will reach out to answer your questions and discuss the best implementation plan for your school or district.

Indiana school leaders have an opportunity to strengthen instruction and improve student outcomes through two state-funded grants now open for 2025: the Digital Learning Grant (DLG) and the Next Generation School Improvement Grant (NextGen SIG).

These grants offer Indiana educators an exciting, timely opportunity to bring innovative solutions into their schools, and both align closely with Swivl’s newest solution, M2.

Digital Learning Grant (DLG)

Available to public and charter schools that completed the 2023 School Tech Plan Survey, the Digital Learning Grant funds innovative educational technology that improves teaching and learning.

Funding priorities include:

AI-powered tools to support instruction and reduce admin workload

Professional development for educators

Immersive and personalized learning

Assistive technologies to promote access and equity

Funds may cover software, hardware, and implementation-related PD. The application for the 2025 Digital Learning Grant is open through May 16, 2025.

NextGen School Improvement Grant (SIG)

Open to schools identified for CSI or TSI under Indiana’s ESSA plan, NextGen SIG supports transformational change. It encourages schools to rethink instructional models, redesign student experiences, and partner with experts to lead the work.

A list of eligible schools is available here.

Applications for the 2025–2026 School Improvement Grant are open through May 31, 2025.

Because it follows along with your instruction, M2 can pick up right where you left off and chime in with a timely and relevant contribution to keep the lesson flowing smoothly.

What makes M2 a strong fit?

M2 is an intelligent co-teacher that leverages AI to provide on-demand instructional support in the classroom.

It gives teachers real-time feedback and can be prompted as a live co-teacher to help strengthen instruction and engage students.

M2 aligns with both grant programs:

Digital Learning Grant (DLG): M2 qualifies as an AI-powered solution that enhances teacher effectiveness and supports tech-driven professional development.

NextGen SIG: M2 supports school transformation by improving instructional quality, developing teacher capacity, and fostering long-term growth through structured reflection and support tools.
